The Whole World In Our Hands...: 8 Months

~8 Months~

Wow - so many changes in one month! Addison is now sleeping in her crib and doing great. She is in her new big girl carseat (she looks so tiny in it!). She's now been weaned and it totally formula fed now. I was sad to stop nursing but she was ready - she was getting distracted and not seeming interested and my supply took a hit after starting my new job and not having a lot of time to pump. But she's thriving and happy and so is Mommy. She loves her bottle - she loves playing with it too. She'll drop it and challenge herself to get it again - once she does she gets so happy and proud of herself that she starts giggling. She's so silly! We're starting her on new foods pretty often and she's loving eating Mums and Puffs. They're a great way to keep her occupied too! She's getting pretty good at the pincer grasp.

She is becoming much more mobile. She's rolling all over the place which is her mode of transportation right now. Haha. She's starting to try to crawl - we think in another 2-3 weeks she'll get it. She's reaching for things and lunging forward. Once she gets on her tummy she just kicks her legs up and down, like doing leg lifts. Then she gets frustrated. She'll figure it out soon! She's so funny, sometimes she'll be sitting straight up and then bend over and fold herself in half and put her ear to the floor or her feet - we call it her yoga pose. It's hilarious! Have no idea why she does it but I hope I can get a picture of it!

This girl LOVES bling. She pulls on necklaces and earrings and spots rings and plays with them. And she tries to pull my glasses off constantly - I think she likes the sparkles on the side.

She's such a Mama's girl - but I can't complain. Love cuddling with my little girl! She's definitely more cuddly than Aaden ever was. She has such a wonderful personality. She's cute and cheesy and funny and happy - she makes it easy to soak her up!
