1st Birthday Party

We decided to have a much smaller party then we originally planned.  By the time Addison's birthday rolled around, we weren't comfortable leaving Dad by himself and he wasn't strong enough to leave the house.  So we decided to have her party here at home and just have the aunts, uncles and grandparents over.  We didn't have any of the cousins and no other kids.  It turned out really great though.  It was a perfect little celebration and it was pretty stress free.  Dad even came out to celebrate with us here and there.

Ooh, the anticipation!
Giving it a try
Yum!
Going in for more
and more
Her yelling tells us she likes it
She's saying, "Yeah!"
Decided to take her headband off before it got ruined
She loved all the blank polka dots on her cake so she ended up with quite the beard
Ooh, she's so cute!
Coming out with her second outfit
She was very interested in her shoes
Close up of her customized shirt

The other cake Aunt Kerry made
It was so cute and so good!
Time for presents!

Or not
It's time for bubbles!
Aaden and I started without her
She was interested once she saw the baby
Pearl necklace from Grandma & Grandpa
Aaden helping open books
Moo was Aaden's favorite book.
He ruined it from reading it so much, so happy Addison has one now!
She found her lovie!
Grandma showing them the baby gear
Addison liked the pack n play
So, she climbed in!
I don't care if it's small, I'm sitting in it, damn it!
Pretty sure Aaden was telling her that it's not for her to sit in
"Yeah!"
Aunties
This is totally normal for us
Addison probably trying to escape the craziness
"Ooh, another present"
"No, this isn't what I thought"
"Noooo!"

This was the most special moment-
Dad came out to watch Addison's birthday video and she
crawled over to him and rest her head on his knee.
I'm so happy this moment was captured
This is the last picture taken of my Dad
