9 Months

~9 Months~

Our little girl has now been an outside baby longer than she was an inside baby!  She's getting more mobile now - she's army crawling, trying to pull herself up and can get from her belly to sitting up now.  She's eating more - we've gotten a bit more aggressive with the solids considering we were so slow going at first.  Her favorite foods right now are Mums, sweet potatoes, turkey meatballs and oatmeal.  She still doesn't like avocado and doesn't seem to like peas either (can't say I blame her on that one!).  She does this funny thing with her wrists where she looks like she's revving up a motorcycle, mostly when she's excitedly anticipating something (food). We have started to introduce the sippy cup too.  

She's mastered the pincer grasp and will pick up any.little.thing. off the floor and stick it in her mouth.  (It's so much harder to keep the floor clear of chokey stuff with a toddler running around!)  I actually had to give her a back blow the other day to get a crayon out of her mouth that when I tried to finger sweep (big no-no) it went further into her throat and she was gagging/choking. Ugh.

This little girl loves her big brother - he makes her laugh.  She takes big girl baths now which is nice because they can just bathe together - they both love it.  Addison is babbling/talking a lot.  A lot more than Aaden ever did.  She says Mamamama & Baba. 

She is FEISTY.  We call her Sissy Monster which is perfectly fitting because she gets growly and pissed when she doesn't get what she wants.  She yells when she's happy too.  Let's just say, she's a lot louder and head strong than we would have thought considering she was such a quiet, sweet baby.  She's still sweet and loves to cuddle but she has a fire inside!  She's mostly happy though.  

At her recent doctor appointment she weighed 19lbs 7.5oz and was 27" long and her HC was 44cm.  She's wearing size 4 diapers and is in 6-9 month clothes.
