Pre-Baby Outings - SBC Fair & Swank Farms

There were a few things I wanted to do with Aaden before the arrival of the new baby - as a last family of three type outing and just to spend some quality time with Aaden before his world is temporarily turned upside down.  There were three things I wanted to do - go to the fair, go to Swanks for the pumpkin patch and go to Roaring Camp Railroad (he really loves Thomas the Train right now).  We didn't make it to Roaring Camp - it's in Felton and we just didn't get the opportunity to go yet.  We'll have to take him soon as a big brother outing or something.

We had fun at the fair even though it was pretty hot.  We met up with the Lovejoys and walked around to check things out.  Aaden didn't like the large animals much - he liked them from afar but didn't want to get too close to them.  He liked the rabbits and chickens though.  His other favortie things were playing in the kiddie corral, checking out the train and dancing to the one-man band that we watched for a while.  We only stayed for a few hours because Mommy was hot and tired (at 37 weeks pregnant) and we didn't get to go on any rides because Aaden was too short for all of them - even the family ones. :(  Next year, for sure!

Checking out the trains!
Rabbits, chickens and turkeys, oh my!

Swank Farms was a lot of fun too.  Definitely more enjoyable for Aaden this year than it was last year.  He really loved feeding the goats, seeing the animals and running around in the kiddie corral there.  Can't wait for next year when he can do some of the bigger kid activities!

Feeding the goats!  So fun!

Jumping off the haystack!  Brave boy!

We were following Aaron for the most part but then Aaden would turn around and say "no, no, no" and go another way like we were going the wrong way!  We think it was more that he wanted to go find other kids in the maze
Back to the goats!

I look like I have a pumpkin under my shirt! ;-)
